Chorillana places
Chorillana: a stomach bursting pile of fries, fried onions, cheese and meat or seafood, only for the brave and hungry
J. Cruz: praised by some, found disappointing by others. The place is worth a visit for it’s popular charm
Dominos and Mastadonte are supposed to have the real stuff

Empanada places

Empanada: a true Latin-American classic of pastry with a meat, fish or original filling

Onces
Onces: Afternoon tea with sandwiches, cake and sweets. Most places bring their version.
El Jardin (see above)won the best onces 2010 award
Cafe con letras (see above) have a nice variety of onces
El cafe del poeta serves great sandwiches and deserts
